Mariah Spindle sees clients in-person in Artesia, NM and through telehealth.
Mariah obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree (2014) in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from Norwich University of Vermont. From there, Mariah worked within the courts and corrections system in Northern Virginia where she gained experience working with a variety of individuals and needs. This ultimately led to her joining the local Community Services Board where she worked in intensive case management with individuals experiencing serious mental illness. From this hands-on experience within the field of mental health, Mariah went on to earn her Master of Social Work degree (2022) with a clinical concentration, from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Mariah has experience working with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment issues as well as suicidal ideation and self-harm through her multiple internships in direct practice.
Mariah is interested in working with individuals of all ages with a variety of concerns. Mariah approaches clients from a person centered, strengths based, holistic perspective with a sincere desire to work alongside and empower individuals along their treatment journey.
